No, I’m not looking for project cars once I have a responsible car. That would be crazy .

My rule is that only idiots post in the “looking for” cars section. Not one of them has ever responded to me, even when I’m selling pertinent stuff

As a as a person who sold many cars I’ve never thought to look for an ad for somebody looking for a car. most people go find the one they want.

And and it’s even stupider on Craigslist where people post wanted ads in the for sale section. only buyers not sellers will see them.

The only reason I thought to message them is because of the reason you mentioned, I’ve seen their posts while looking to buy. That being said the stupidity of deliberately posting in the wrong section should have tipped me off.

I usually message people when their listing is the wrong section (bikes in the cars section, autos listed as manuals) and it’s amazing how many people will respond back that they meant to and their intention is more exposure......
